Happy Monday, everyone! Again, this is in request of a reader. Lollipop's really mad adorable. Tre cute, really! I havent even really tweaked/personalised the phone. Hoping that Bangkok sells the transparent cover for this phone so that I can bling the cover. EXCITED!

Nonetheless, Touchpro is still my precious. I'm never selling the phone. It cost Daddy too much for me to just let go. Besides, it's always nice to have a smartphone & funphone to play around with. ;)

These were taken yesterday.

So, yesterday I had the rights to be 'Missy'. I didnt have a choice. They were bullying me, so I showed 0% mercy. What happened?

Daddy was flipping through the newpapers & saw the Lollipop ad. I immediately called Singtel & they said they had stock. & cause I'm under 18 so the line is under my Mommy's name, my Mommy had to be present to recontract. I remembered 2 years back I could get it done myself if Mommy wrote an Authorisation Letter & gave me her IC. To double check, I called Singtel again. & they said "No problem." Awesome. So I showered, cabbed down, forget my phone, U-turn back, finally reached Westmall & queued for a Q-number. & guess what. Irritating person #1 said I have to be at least 18. ?! Excuse me. Ridiculous much? I just called & yall said it was okay. Then irritating person #2 said "Why not we trace down your call?" So you're trying to say I'm lying? Is that what you think of your customer? Obvious bullying okay these people. I told her I did it before with letter & IC & she gave me that sarcastic + yaya tone "Nooooo, never before." That really made me mad. Almost lost it @ her but I'm no longer that kinda person + I really didnt have the energy already. WAS FUMING LIKE THIS >;[ !

Last resort, called my brother since these people just wanna make life difficult for me. URGH. Daddy came down too. I felt so guilty for making them come all the way down just to sign something.

Was really excited to meet my boy & pass him some CNY goodies. Alas, he couldnt make it. & I was left there heartbroken with KFC to cheer me up for dinner. ;)

Today, dragged myself out of bed really early with bodyache. Walked to church with Mommy. She donated $200 while I donated $50. ;) Daddy picked us up to go to Bugis for her facial. Walkwalk with my King, had lunch @ Seah St's Swee Kee Hainanese Chicken Rice. Daddy dapao the best Curry Rice @ Kitchener Rd for dinner. Korkor has to book in early today & is going to Tekong again. I would die if I were him.

Awhile ago, the King, Queen & Princess went to Jurong Point as the Queen was craving for The Soup Restaurant. @ the same time, the Prince's camp is @ Jurong. So we thought we'd just mummum, walkwalk & fetch him when he book out. Lunch was awesome, egg tofu for life manz! Heeheee! Walked around, asked the HP Megastore about Lollipop & they said it'll be out in a fortnight. Excited! There were so many pink phones there, but the Lollipop Pink is to die for. Mad stellar hotpink. ;) Anyways, walkwalkwalk & the Prince still hasnt called! So we decided to head home. Then 30 mins after we reach home, he called. HAHAHA.

Saw so many cute pink stuff that had so much potential to be in my room. Thought about Bangkok & decided to 'ren' first. Tre excited okay!

Bright & early @ 8am. Traffic jam!

I was 11. HAHA. So tanned, I know!

King & I went to the upper deck for 'fresh air' (as he likes to call it).

2 nights ago, Mommy & I walked to 7 mile again. & I love disturbing her while she's on the phone, totally unaware. Heeheee! Love you, Mommy!

Lemme summarise my trip. I gained weight from all the yumyumz. But it's okay. Despite my cramps, I can never resist shopping with my King. It's always on his expense cause 'I sayang my Princess what' (quoted from Daddy). We went to 2 malls. The first was to settle breakfast, looksee looksee, got my maid a digital camera & my stellar telephone. Oh, got myself a grey lacey skirt too. =] The next was to literally get all the yummy mummumz. We bought 2 dozens of donuts, 2 boxes of instant mee goreng (80 packets) & a hell lot of new year goodies. I cant wait to eat the instant mee goreng for lunch. It is seriously nothing like Singapore's. Ours really no standard. King & I sort of struggled with everything, walking up & down, clearing customs & all the nonsensical tax payment (aka corrupted government). But it was no mean feat for us xcore shoppers. This is like training for Bangkok, heeheee!

So, pink telephone off my Bangkok shopping list. I still have to get tissue paper holder, dustbin, table lamp, clock, umbrella, polaroid, bags, shoes, clothes, school supplies, everything! Mostly pink. ;) My Sawadeeka list is never-ending! I'm redoing my room so that almost everything is pink. Shopping in Bangkok's def the way to start poly-life with all my new pink stuffs. Excited!

It's a rainy day today. My boy's starting work today. Marche soon for crepe. ;)

Remember how we always wanted to go to the same poly (NP) after secondary school? We wanted that cause imagine how awesome it would be! Going to school together, you staying over as & when you like, us coming home late together, getting dressed, doing each other's hair, picking out clothes. It's like the dream we had for the longest time. This dream is about to be a reality for us. & I know now that we're older, certain plans have changed. But this 'Vanessa & Erika will go to NP' plan stuck with us despite all the retarded quarrels or 1-second grudges we beared with each other. Now's a little too early to tell if we'll really make this dream a reality but I have a feeling that this predestined thing will prevail.

I'm early, every year. Dont you just love me for that?

Yesterday was one of my favourite days. Because #1. I got my new table! #2. My boy came for dinner. =] Minimalistic events, but they make me a very happy kid. Especially my boy, who only turned up last minute. How could he resist Sweddish Meatballz & Bak Kut Teh from JB?! Preposterous, I say.

The day started out rough. I was unskinning Cigu-s the whole afternoon. Cigu is that Chinese New Year thing that looks like potato chips but tastes a million times better. Yes, I know how to make them. ;) My maid did the frying, though. I would've died if I tried!

& while sprinkling salt, I came across this. ♥

Showered & got dressed from 430 to 530 & took 171 to meet Mommy @ Nanyang Girls'. While on the bus, Mommydearest suddenly called & told me to randomly alight @ any stop along Bukit Timah Road cause she's drving along it & would pick me up. I literally alighted @ some random baseball field. HAHAHA! Lucky thang, she was just U-turning over. Headed to Ikea to get Meatballz, curtain tie-backs & my table. Thanks my love for fixing the table for me. You're so sweet! & you look v serious when you're screwing things. Heeheee!

WAY EXCITED FOR BANGKOK ON THE 5TH! ^^

Yesterday, ♥ came over just in time to eat my yummy Cabonara. Should've taken a picture of it. Looked so awesome with bacon, mushrooms & sausages. Must remember to add milk next time so it'll taste creamier. ;) After our early lunch, nua the whole afternoon. I randomly window-blogshopped while he Blackshot-ed. We got hungry again & had puffs & Gyoza. =] Daddy came home & we continued to nua with our lappy-s. ♥ had dinner with me & cause Mommy had MJ plans @ night, she asked him to follow me down for a walk. We were mad, playing in the playground. HAHAHA! But it was pure innocent childhood fun. Something that all of us take for granted now that we're in our adolescent years.

After walkwalk, Blackshot again while I picked up my Accounting handbook & started writing notes. I am still v much clueless. & I dont wanna be this clueless when school starts. I will not be. Vanessa CAN/MUST/WILL master Accounting!

Today will be quite eventful. Am gonna nua in the afternoon while waiting for ♥ to come over. Afterwhich, will be meeting Mommy @ Newton around 6 & head to Ikea (I hope they still have my table!) to get my stuffs + meatballs! Daddy's gonna dapao the best Bak Kut Teh in the world from JB later for dinner & invited ♥ to have dinner with us. ;)

This is in request of PB2 who wanted to know how I defeated Chinese O's.

I had Chinese tuition since K2 cause my family speaks English @ home & my kindergarten chinese homework was always done by my maid. Heeheeee! Anyways, in sec 3 I stopped Chinese tuition & that's when my A1 became a D7. I didnt know why it could drop so terribly too. Till I realise it was due to lack of practice. With tuition, I spent @ least 2 hours a week with my teacher solely conversing in Chinese. Without tuition, I was deprived of this opportunity which I took for granted. I never knew 2 hours could leave such a big impact on my grades. I am horrible @ close passages so I practice it alot too. ;) & for O's, seems like there's always one comprehension passage which is to die for. But just follow your heart & answers need not be found in the passage. That's how I pushed my B3 to an A2!

What a day! Woke up @ 730 & my Mommy bought prata for breakfast. Ate, got dressed & left for Bukit Batok East CC for the Edusave Sholarship Award Ceremony. I'm $400 richer! Heeheee. Dropped by Courts & Daddy got a Lenovo Netbook & a Phillips Blu-ray dvd player.

Afterwhich, came home, changed & went to AMK street 31 for Teochew Muay with my eldest aunt, ahma & 4th aunt. Yumz! Dropped by Erika's place & Ryo loves biting my shorts. How adorable!

Hi patrons of earth, mars, venus & beyond. ;)

Awhile ago, I was @ Harvey Norman's warehouse sale. It's crazy there. Some of the stuffs we bought include: electric hot plate + steamboat & my new pink mouse!

I belted up cause my Daddy said there was a traffic police up front, I was scared!

1st time Ashlee hide under my table. She didnt wanna go pompom. Awhhh. ;(

Speaking of tables, we headed to Ikea after Harvey Norman but the queue to the carpark was neverending. That really bites. Cause Mommy was gonna get me a new study table, a bigger one. For poly. & a dressing table. ;) Nonethless, we're definitely dropping by Ikea soon cause I'm craving for Sweddish Meatballs! Yumzzzz.

Anyways, Mommy passed me alot of her notes/textbooks from the diploma she just finished. It's gonna help me a gazillion since I chose business courses in NP. Since I'm so free now, I'm gonna take up basic Accounting skills. It's vital, in every aspect of life especially since it's a topic covered in N53 Banking & Finance. Hope I'll be able to master Accounting before school starts! ;D

How I survived O's.

This is to address the many requests I received from my lovely readers. ;)

In sec 3, I REALLY DIDNT STUDY/PAY ATTENTION @ ALL. You can ask Xue. HAHAHA. I was supposed to retain cause I failed both my major pure sciences & A Maths. But my teachers were kind enough to push me up a grade to pass me. Nonetheless, English & E Maths were kind to me & they were the 2 subjects I did well without much effort. So in sec 4, I decided to buck up. It requires mad effort, really. & just like everyone else, I started to chiong only during prelims. It nearly killed me cause I knew nuts about my sec 3 stuffs & had to prep up for the sec 4 stuffs too. But I never gave up.

2 weeks before prelims I focused on my weaker subjects. I started writing notes for humanities & practiced A Maths everyday. Humanities is the only subject that I dwelled on for notes. For everything else, I just kept doing assessments & TYS.

For Social Studies, seriously just choose 3 themes to study cause @ least 1 will definitely be tested. If you're lucky 2 or all of the 3 themes could be the 3 SEQ topics.

For Geography, DIEDIE STUDY NATURAL VEGETATION. It's the easiest. of course, you have to know the other topics very well too. There's no easy way out for Geography, sadly. & it is very important to quote examples. Tre important, hands down.

For English, I only made an effort when O's came. I found my flare in writing; Argumentative. I wrote 3 full essays a week before O's. The day before O's, with whatever possible argumentative topic came to my mind, I wrote down points + rebuttal. & I always ends my essays with a catchphrase related to the topic. Eg, Seeing is not necessarily believeing, sometimes we should stick to the status quo, English is the lingua-franca of the world (used this for O's, picked it up on the day itself!). I hate comprehensions as much as anyone else, really. But instead of wasting your time & energy to loathe summary writing, learn to love it. Much convincing & persuading required, but definitely worth it.

Dont give up & dont stay up the whole night before O's! Get at least 5 hours of sleep. ;)

I'm back, people!

I go for a walk almost every night with my Mommy. Last night, Mommy + Daddy + Ashlee & I walked to TongShui @ 7 mile (opp Beautyworld) & had Ba Bao Cha + Beef burger w their signature crinkle-cut fries. Yumz!

"Delete la, I look so shag!" NO WAY!

Today, woke up, made myself ham & cheese omelette for breakfast + meds. Got dressed & left to run errands with Daddy @ Jurong. Afterwhich, NUH for tests & I AM RECOVERING! ;D Ohmygod, praise the lord. But then again, anything can happen & even if I cure, I would still have to be on meds for around a year. Nonetheless, I'm taking a smaller dose of steroids now. ;)

Went to West Coast Plaza for lunch. Mommy came to meet us. & we bought more goodies. =] Mummum is love. Mummum is all the rage. Mummum is (fill in the blanks).

Cabonara for lunch next week. ;) & Idk why we keep buying pineapple tarts when we already ordered very nice & expensive ones from The Ship Restaurant. We havent even finish the previous one we bought!

& I bought frozen chicken Gyoza too, which I am having for dinner with Yakitori (the meat on the stickstick thing with california rice). ;) Lau nua already, how? ME HUNGRY!

Awhrights, more next time. I miss my boy & Erika! & I cant wait to go to Bangkok on 12th Feb!

Last night, Mommy & I finalised my 12 choices & submitted the JAE application online. I HOPE I GET MY 1ST CHOICE. Pretty pretty please. *Innocent wink* Anyways, Mommy bought me dresses (again?!). & we walked to the tailor cause it didnt fit me too well. But there's one which I exceptionally love. I cant wait to wear it, it's so unusual/unique.

So today's gonna be xcore nua day. My plans are as follows:

Met my boy @ Lot1 as I was craving for Long John Silver's. It's been forever & the cheese tasted like heaven, really. Bought his favourite sausage balls & KFC for his Mommy too. Dapao all to his house & feasted. Yummy! I napped, watch TV & left @ around 4 plus. Cab drivers are sneaky & smarter than me! They purposely wait till it's 5 then start picking passengers up. So much for rushing out @ 445!

Anyways, most prolly submitting my JAE application tonight. I hope I get my 1st choice!

I met these girls (& a few others not in the picture) by chance. @ the beginning, I didnt really click well with some of them but all it took for true friendship to prevail was time. We quarrel, fight, hate but somehow, we cant deny how much we have learnt to love. It's sad, but it's inevitable that we will not being seeing each other as often as before. Nonetheless, yall are more than just beautiful memories to me. Yall are already inked on my heart.

Yesterday was crazy. I wish that moment lasted forever.

Met my girls @ Westmall & we were all losing our minds @ Subway. Cabbed to school as yours truly cannot get too much sun exposure. ;) Caught up with Xinyi & my dearest long lost girlfriends who'll be taking O's this year. <MISS YOU ALL!> Got chased away from the Staff Table @ the canteen by some whatever-teacher (whoever she is). Dont you just miss secondary school life? Awhhh.

Amidst the chitter-chatter, THE ANNOUNCEMENT OF OUR LIVES BLASTED THROUGH THE PA SYSTEM. The whole canteen screamed! Phenomenal. Everyone hurried to the hall while the current batch of graduating sudents went up to the Gallery.

So, Dunearn is a dumb school & they isolated all those with 'improper attire' to the other end of the hall. We were supoosedly the last to get back our results. I volunteered myself anyways. I even thought of an excuse, which is: Spraying my hair black is harmful & I've a sickness. My hair is already dropping. It's true! But I didnt get a chance to use it. BECAUSE.

I was sitting there with Weiting, Serena & Celeste. They did the usual powerpoint slides, statistics, school vs national %. Then suddenly the screen flashed "TOP STUDENTS OF GCE O LEVEL 2009". Eveyone panicked! I still remember I said "Huh, so fast?!".

The screen flashed again. '5 distinctions'. & I SAW MY NAME. I THOUGHT I WAS DREAMING. REALLY.

That up there was sandwiched between other names. & didnt dare go up to collect my slip cause I thought it wasnt real! Then Weiting said "GO! IT'S YOU! GO!" (While snapping candid pictures away!) I ran, jumped, squealed, screamed while everyone was cheering & laughing @ how dumb I looked. But my boy said I looked like Minnie Mouse. ;) That was my moment & it was surreal.

I shook our new prinicipal's hand while he said "Look, how happy she is!".

The first person I thanked was my form teacher, Ms Michelle Ho. I've never been on good terms with her. But I dont know why. My first instincts was to go up to her & thank her. I held back my tears cause I was telling her how I'm sick, it's chronic how much pain I'm going through & now I see the light. I have MY MOMENT. She said she didnt expect me to be a top student too. But she said I deserved it.

After all the hoopla, catastrophe, everything, headed to Amos' place with my boy & the rest. They drank, I didnt. ;) & my dearest Mommy came & picked me home. The moment I reached home, Daddy gave me a big big hug & $300?! I was joking about the money thing. I dont know why, I dont seem to want money now. I think I've already got more than what I want. I'm contented. =]

I had the yummy-est yong tau foo all the way from Geylang, thanks Daddy! My Mommy wanted to surprise me with a present but she was rushing to pick me up. Nonetheless, Mimi's dad treated us to deserts @ night. ;)

To anyone who believed in me, I sincerely thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I thank God for everything.

Happy Saturday everyone! ;)

Woke up @ 7, got dressed, had cheese & sugar toast + milo + meds & headed out to Bukit Timah Hill with Mommy & some of her colleagues. In case you're wondering, BTH is just behind my condo. & my parents bought this condo cause I had bronchitis as a kid & living here cured me. ;) Anyways. Mommy wasnt feeling well so after literally climbing up the super steep part, we decided to take a break. Headed home @ 830 & I took a heavenly shower (of course after all the sweat was dried up, I dont want white spots!).

Awhile ago, Daddy & I brought Ashlee to the groomer's. I'm excited to see her new furcut! Will post a picture later. & since I was craving for Katong Laksa, we headed to Bukit Timah Hawker Centre to dapao. & my dearest Dad remembered that I wanted fishball crackers so he bought it for me too. How sweet. ;)

So last night, I was @ KEONG SAIK STREET. I realised I've been spelling & pronouncing it wrong! Everyone has! Anyways, I forgot to snap a picture of the most awesome tofu ever. ;( But yah, it's chye poh with minced meat on top of a giant piece of fried egg tofu. Yumz! My parents & I also had asam fish, har lok (prawns) & 3 egg soup (normal, salted & century).

After dinner, Daddy dropped by his pub to sign some cheques while Mommy & I walked around the district.

I'm 41.4kg now. ;O & I do eat, alot!

O's results are gonna be released! Excited but super damn scared. 3 days to go, madness! & last night Xue gave me a false alarm all thanks to another classmate of ours. She said 6 people from my class didnt make it. MYGOD. & it's fake. =.= What's up with you people?! It's giving me a heart attack! On a lighter note, GOODLUCK EVERYONE! ;)

Happy Thursday everyone! 4 more days & I'll get my O results. That's crazy. But on the plus side, I'll get to see my girls, wear school uniform, totally break every single school rule (attire-wise).

I'm thinking:

-same everlast low-cut shoes
-grey low-cut socks with colourful stripes
-hotpink bow clipped on my ponytail

HAHAHA. So excited! I hope they let me pass the school gate cause my hair is still v brown. =] Mommy said she'll fetch me to school if she's free so I wont have to be under the sun. How sweet right? If not, I'll just cab. ;)

Just had cheese & sugar toast, yummy! Gave myself a mani-pedi, normal transparent top coat. ;) This sunday afternoon can not get anymore boring man. Plucked my brows too. I'm so random.

I feel like being 39kg, is that too skinny? I'm 156cm. Anyways, @ the rate I'm going, seems I'll be 41kg in no time. Healthy mum mum = lose weight. But I'm so afraid the steroids will make me fat anytime. ;(

Yesterday, went to NUH. Now everytime I visit NUH, I'll have to go for blood & urine test. ;( Anyways, life's like that & I'm immune to bloodtests already. ;) Mommy was working half day so when she came back, we went to Coldstorage @ Rail Mall to buy yumyumz! Spent New Year's Eve @ home watching TV & eating eating eating. ;)

Today, headed to Town with Mommy around 10 plus. I got my hotpink havaianas! The last time I went there with Xinyi, the hotpink ones had that ugly diamond thing. V disappointed. But yayyyyyy!

Shall wear it later when my family & I head to Chinatown for dinner with my neighbours. My parents know how much I adore tofu so we're going there to have the best tasting egg tofu ever. ;)

So yah, Mommy & I each bought a dress from Max&More. Shall wear the dress (most prolly with my lacey jacket) on me & my l♥ve's FIRST YEAR ANNIVERSARY! I got 6 free movie tickets courtesy of Mommy. ;) Dont need anything extravagant, just wanna wear nicenice & go kaikai with my loveeeee.

Happy wednesday everyone!

Here for a quick update. Tomorrow, I'll be meeting my rheumatologist @ NUH for a follow-up. Hopefully, lesser steroids. I'm starting to wonder if the tiny patches on my cheeks will disappear. It's not obvious but my face used to be flawless. & I miss that.

So 2009's coming to an end. I just hope for 2010 to be even more of a joy. Looking back, I really have grown & though we question why sometimes life isnt fair to us, look at what it has made us become. Stronger, bolder, wiser etc. All the life changing experiences (major one being me falling sick) has made me understand how we must cherish everything we have instead of complain about everything that we dont. Agree? New Year resolution. ;)

I'm eating this gigantic fishball that my maid just steamed. Heeheeee. It's huge! I cant wait for lunch, beef spaghetti. ;) I've been eating all the healthy stuff that I seem to be losing weight? I cant believe I'm 42.6kg now when I was 46kg before I fell sick. I didnt even go on a diet or anything & the steroids are supposed to make me gain weight like crazy but that dont seem to be the case for me. Maybe I'll start gaining after a month? NOOOOO. ;(

My daily diet:

Butter sugar toast & a cup of milk for breakfast.
Lunch. (I usually eat noodles. Yesterday was udon, today's spaghetti.)
Fruits.
Dinner. (Typical dinner stuff like rice, soup, CAICAI, fish, meat, etc.)
Fruits.
& a cup of Milo before I sleep @ night.

Anyone wanna follow my diet? Guaranteed to lose weight. 1 week of this diet & I lost over 2kg. But seriously though, I'm craving for a million & one things. Potato wedges, Marche Crepe, nuggets, fish fingers, pizza, LONG JOHN SILVERS... ;(

Awhright, enough about food. Feel like taking a nap now. I eat & sleep all day. Hahaha!

Today, I'm dedicating my time to my blog. ;) Let's start off with pictures. Super random & everything, accumulated since a million years ago. Heeheee! I didnt put any make up on at all in those pictures. Power anot? So, I havent had a proper update in forever yah? Have just been nua-ing @ home.

I know this is random but I just cant stress enough how much I've grown since I fell sick. My parents. Where can I begin? When I was hospitalised in Gleneagles, my mom came early in the morning just to spread jam on my bread for breakfast. My Dad brought me stuffs like my favourite food, the portable dvd player. He even rushed back from Batam & skipped his dinner after his golf game. Things like this we take for granted. The big lesson I learnt is to never take anything for granted.

I really thank, with all my heart, everyone who have sent me their 'get well soon' wishes. V much appreciated.

Mommy & Daddy, I LOVE YOU! When was the last time any of you said this to your parents?

& My dearest ♥, you're always there when I need you. 1 more week & it's our 1 year anniversary! ;O I dont ask for anything, but just to be in your arms. ;) Mwah!

Oh I suddenly remembered how cute my mom can be. On 23 december, my dad went to Town to get a xmas present for my mom. I had to help him cover up & everything. Then when Daddy came back with this cute light green paper bag, my mom immediately knew it was for her. SO she started ripping everything & right before she saw what was inside, my dad said "Ey, dont open! Not christmas yet!" Hahaha! It's the nicest Tiffany&Co necklace I've ever seen. Maybe mommy will let me wear it one day. ;)

To anyone who's wondering about my condition.

Prof Lau (my rheumatologist) says I'm fine. The Lupus seems to be attacking my red & white blood cell count only. Nothing else. Of course, the butterfly rash on the face. But it's clearing. Can barely see it now ;) I still eat 6 steroid pills every morning + another pill & 2 calcium+Vit D pills @ night. Cause I cant go out to the sun so I dont have natural Vit D. Other than that, I'm fine. ;)

Happy eve of Xmas eve, people.

It has to be times like this when I realise who really loves me & cares if I'm dead or alive. Thanks nice people. ;)

Again, I woke up at 8am. Have been sleeping with my Mom cause she wants to make sure I'm okay. & she wakes up 730am for work everyday & makes breakfast for me. How nice. ;) Then I'd stumble off bed, wash up, still be in my comfy PJs & eat breakfast, my 6 steroid pills plus another pill & then I'll be doing nothing, watching tv till Daddy comes home. Life's boring for me. Really. I dont even call this life.

Like, how can life of a 16 year old teenage girl be so miserable. Hello, I was sick ever since a week after O's. Till now. I havent been able to enjoy my holidays & reults are about to be out. feels insanely terrible. ;( & have I mentioned I AM ONLY FRIGGIN 16!

Hi darlings.

How's everyone doing? Better than me, I hope.

I havent updated for over a week & I apologise. I've been in & out of Gleneagles. Hospitalised, put on drip, countless bloodtests & whatnot. They really took a ton of blood from me, 4 days a row man. That was a killer.

So I was diagnosed with CMV, a viral infection. Eveyone was literally overjoyed cause the doctor had earlier suspected Lupus. Then another bloodtest came & I'm Systemic Lupus positive. Oh god.

So now, I'm on steroids which will make me fat, particularly on my face. Like, my face isnt round enough. =.= This sucks. I've a butterfly rash across my cheeks, that's typical of anyone suffering from Lupus.

I HATE LUPUS. It is chronic. I feel like a vampire cause I cant get sun exposure & I must eat all those healthy food. Sighs. Life is at an all-time low for me now. I've to go back for more urine & bloodtests asap to confirm if the Lupus has affected my kidneys. I really really hope not. They'll have to give me countless injections & higher steroid dosage whihc will make me even fatter!

Anyways. Xmas is just around the corner. All I want for Xmas is to get well soon.

Awhright, back to reality. I cant lead a normal lifestyle anymore. Hope my condition stabilises soon. Hope my tests will prevail the face that I'm fine. It's gonna be a very boring Xmas & New Year for me. I cant imagine going back to get my results & no one would be able to recognise me. ;(

I cant even have 1% of stress in my life cause it will cause my Lupus to get even more angry. Oh btw, Lupus is a condition where my immune system goes haywire & attacks my body. It's quite serious cause it's life-long.

Greetings everyone!

I apologise to my readers for not having update the past few days. I was down with cough, sore throat, fever, flu, headache, bodyache. Basically, I was living everyone's nightmare. ;( But I'm much better now.

Work on Monday was a killer. I was literally 3/4 dead & dragging myself out of bed @ 5am. & it's only because I couldnt call Recruitexpress on Sunday to find a replacement, they're closed on Sundays! ;O I wanted to take Tuesday off & continue on Wednesday, but they replaced me for the whole entire week. =.= There goes my source of income. Nonetheless, it was good that I stayed home & rest. Compared to Monday, this feels phenomenally stellar man!

All I did for the past 4 days was sleep, sweat, eat medicine, KO. I eliminated technology & gave myself a much needed break from all the hoopla. So, in my previous post when I said I wanted to lose 3kg, I DIDNT MEAN I WANTED TO FALL TERRIBLY SICK! Still, 4 days of immense torture made me lose 3kg. Feel so weak & giddy, but really didnt have the appetite. Even until now. ;(

In 4 days I ate:

1/2 peach tart.
1/4 slice of bread.
2 spoons of rice.
2 spoons of my favourite Japanese noodles.
2 cups of Milo.
LOTS OF WATER.

The best part is, I didnt even feel hungry. I dont even feel hungry now. From 45.9kg on Monday to 42.9kg today. I feel like 1/2 of me disappeared. HAHAHA! Before I was sick, I would look in the mirror & notice how round my face is. & now, my face is so sharp. Not used to it. ;O

I've finished all my pills but my throat still hurts. I think it was cause I vomitted twice on Tuesday. That really took my life okay. I wanna eat 'Dombe' again tomorrow. Thanks Erika!

Yesterday, while I was taking the lift up to my house, a postman dashed in. Guess what, he came to deliver my long lost HTC! Miss it so much, looks brand new now. ;) & isnt that picture of my pretty nails much clearer than the one in the previous post? What does this goes to show? HTC camera owns iPhone. Using iphone was like hell okay, especially when I wanna reply texts. I only love iphone cause the WiFi is phenomenal. ;) I've been using my Touchpro for a year already & it still looks brand new. Daddy spent a bomb, it's imperative that I took precious care of it.

Hello my loves!

I'm suffering from lack of sleep. ;( Woke up @ 845, now I'm feeling 1/2 dead with severe bodyache. Anyways, Momster gave me a lift to Taka where I signed the Newspaper Distribution contract. Good news, I'm doing the 4-hour shift from 7am - 11am = more money = $110. ;) Bad news, I've to wake up at 5am when the sun isnt even up yet! >;[ But it's awhright, I get more $$$.

So, after signing the contract with XOXO(Happy 11th month anniversary!) & Dalton, went down to the ATM so that XOXO can draw money to get the receipt. & TWICE, he pressed the 'Without Receipt' button until he had no more $$ in his account. =.= Aiyo, beibei! So I had to transfer $20 to his account so that he can draw the $20 out & finally get the receipt. After which, we walked to FEP where I met Xinyi Deardear & I parted ways with XOXO(Happy 11th month anniversary!) & Dalton.

THE MANICURIST WAS AROUND! & she did my nails, woohooo!

Added a green cupcake, orange lollipop & more diamonds. ;) There's actually a cherry on top of the cupcake & the lollipop has the circlecircle detail. SATISFIED, V V MUCH. ;D

Trained to Bugis where we had Mac's for lunch. My 4th pack of Shaker Fries ever since they started re-selling. Oh god, kinda fearful of potatoes now! Heeheee! I got a see-through lacey jacket w gold zipper which comes with a black tanktop. Saw it at ohsofickle.com.sg selling for $29.90, if I'm not wrong? But I got it at $19. Squeezing & whining @ Bugis was worth it, 10 bucks difference y'know!

Decided to head back to FEP since we couldnt find Xinyi's high-waist shorts @ Bugis. Managed to find a v v nice pair @ FEP. ;D It was 3 plus & we were stranded in Town with no desired destination so we ended up at ION. I've decided which pair of Havaianas to get already. ;) White&Pink, how special.

Headed home @ around 5 plus. I still remember how it felt like last year, wishing there was more time to be out. Now that I dont have to bother about what time I've to be home, time seems to pass by ultra slowly. Ironic man.

Before I go, I must dedicate this to XOXO: HAPPY ELEVENTH MONTH! ;) It's been 99.9999% joy & 0.0001% sorrow. But what's a relationship without ups & downs? & who said tears arent good? The 0.0001% sorrow always remind me just how much I love you. Mwah! Love you, my #1 one & only boy!

Finally, can hit the orange button & go into deep sleep & wake up way past lunch time tomorrow.

Vanessa will be distributing newspapers @ Raffles Courtyard from 7-11 Dec, 11am - 2pm. Heeheee. I'm in desperate need of the $$$.

Went to Town with XOXO to collect my lappy & to do my nails. Greatness, both manicurists not around! >;[ They told me to return tomorrow. 1 cupcake = $8. *faints. But I really want them done! I want, I want! Took 190 back to my XOXO's place & nua till dinner time. XOXO & Dalton will also be distributing newspapers but at Tanjong Pagar & from 7am - 11am. 4 hour shift while mine's only 3 hours. That means, they'll have more $$$. But it's okay, I'll be modest. ;) Really hope to get a better job soon. On the plus side, I can do my nails in peace tomorrow knowing that I'll have $80 plus after I get my pay. ;)

Another piece of good news, I'm awarded the Edusave Scholarship again! See, Mommy & Daddy, I studied v hard for prelims & did well okay. ;O Yayyyy! Hope it's also $500 this time. Cant wait to collect it on 17 January! & today when I was drawing money from the atm, I was shocked to see that my account balance was $440. I remember I only had $192 the last time I drew money. Must be Momster. ;) *huge sigh of relief, at least I'm not V V broke now. But if I spend all the money, I'm sure to get a serious tongue-lashing session. So, better spend wisely. ;)

Awhrights, a little errand to run tomorrow which is to head to Town to sign the contract for the newspaper distribution thing. Quite excited to finally be working & earning some $$$ though it's not alot. Still, at least I wont be jobless next week. Heeheee! Gonna whip up a scrumptious breakfast for him, luncheon meat bread with egg. ;) Yummmm. I can lao nua now! That day at Town, Huishan disappeared! Did my nails & am going there later to tweak them. ;D My whole body's aching terribly now. ;( Just cant wait to collect my lappy, do my nails & come home. I need to give my fragile body a break!

The weather today's awesome. V windy, cold & no sun! ;D What an awesome day to run all my countless errands, yah? Let me do a quick checklist.

#3. Just sent a resume to Zara *fingers-crossed*.
#4. Just had lunch. Curry noodles!

Hi everyone. ;) How's my lovely-s doing?

Earlier today, lunch plans with the family was switched to dinner plans. My King decided to go to Town & he asked me to tag along. & so I did. It's always nice to go Town with my Daddy because I'll never come home empty-handed. Today, I came home with LACEY LEGGINGS! The leggings are stellar man. So, it wasnt $20, it's $25. But the store was having 10%, so it amounted to $22. When will I take my lacey leggings out to see the world? ;)

I'm missing my boy terribly. The last time I saw him was Monday. V v long ago. ;(

Why I didnt go to prom.

Many must be wondering why I ditched prom last night. The so-called 'once in a lifetime' thing in our teenage lives. Thought I'd just address it here. ;)

Firstly, prom which has now become a subculture belongs in the US. Who are we to do a direct cop-out of prom, fresh from the US & expect it to be as fabulous here in Singapore? I was never a supporter of prom. Frankly speaking, prom is just the night where the richer girls remind us all once again just how rich they are with their chanel/gucci gowns. So, if prom is out to make average girls like us feel so degraded, why waste our time & money when you know it's gonna be pointless?

Not a pessimist, this is just my point of view. Besides, my Daddy gave me $100 plus to go shopping because I decided to skip prom. Heeheee!

Okay, back to reality. Daddy's bringing me to the doctor's now. Feels like crap to be sick. ;(

Sick, sick, sick. This feels terrible. A Christmas Carol's a lovely show. Though it's a Disney production, there's alot of maturity in the show. It makes me reflect on my past, take a good look of who I am now in the present, & fear who I'll become in the future. Disney movies always make me feel nostalgic, but that's why we watch them, right? ;)

My tummy hurts man. What's wrong with me these days? I need to detox. Like, not get the drugs/alcohol out of my system (cause I dont have any) but the unhealthy food I've been eating. ;( Speaking of which, had Aston's for lunch today. Heavenly. ;D After our date, we headed back to my place cause I was literally 3/4 dead. I slept while my boy used the lappy. I'll never forget my half conscious state & how you gave me a goodbye kiss before you left. Awhhhh.

'Okay, so now I'm gonna wear my glasses & you can laugh at me for awhile.'

HAHAHA. I really didnt bother about how I looked. Just really needed to sleep off that terrible fever/headache I had & am still having. ;(

Ohgod. Havent been at the pink of health lately. Woke up at 5am & ran to the toilet. Tummy hurts. ;( Continued sleeping till 11 plus, woke up, got dressed & went to Turf City to the place I call Doggie Paradise. ;) The birthday pooches dined at US Doggie Bakery where they enjoyed a scrumptious Lamb & Cheese rice meal. Yummmmz!

I'm so in love with Curry Rice. Totally common & Singaporean but you gotta thank fellow patrons of wonderful Singapore for inventing Curry Rice man. I'm being random again. Heeheee! So after bringing the girls out, Daddy took away, you guessed it, Curry Rice. Came home, ate, chat with love for a while then slept. Woke up, eat again, & TELL ME HOW AM I GONNA DIET LIKE THIS?

Current crave: Lucky Charm Marshmallow cereal. ;) But I cantttttt. I'll get the world's most terrible tummyache again, for like the 8353742927th time. ;( Depressing!

Was baking cupcakes the whole afternoon for a certain someone. ;) Before I know it, it was 6 & I got dressed to pick Erika's family to the airport for dinner. Bought chocolates from The Chocolate Factory. So effing expensive! Like 10 pieces for $30. Ohmygodddd, daylight robbery man.

Got off the phone with my certain someone not too long ago. He went to meet his friends in the cyberworld & I'm here meeting strangers of the cyberworld. ;) I sound v creepy, I know, heeheee!

My lappy's sick again. This green thing keeps flashing at the bottom of my screen, it's making me to neverending double-takes to see what's wrong. Only to realise it's the same crappy green light thing & it's making me feel like a total retard. ;O

Okay. Bad idea. The Luckycharm Marshmallow cereals were so tempting. But I've a super low tolerance to lactose & now my tummy hurts. ;O My crappy crappy tummy. ;( It's so pain I can cry. Like, I didnt cry when I got my piercings done. BUT THIS HURTS MAN! >;[ & I've been wanting to throw up since just now. V v terrible. ;(

Anyways. Earlier today, I went to Lot1 to meet my love. ;) Yongqin was there to criticise me, as always. Bought jelly mix & cupcake stuffs & headed to my boy's place to nua nua & nua somemore. My lovely Daddy came to pick me up. Darling, please dont feel that way. It makes me feel v v jialat y'know?

The wonderful cereal cost $10.95. Ohmygod, faints.

Thanksgiving's over I guess. & I dont celebrate it. But I'll just actact a little.

#1. I'm thankful for the wonderful parents I have. Favouritsm is normal since I've an older brother. But my Dadfy always makes up to his little princess. He's the best.
#2. I'm thankful I got my chance at true love with my dearest. I love you, dardar!
#3. I'm thankful to have 1 v v close friend/cousin/godsis. She's all I need. If I have to survive with just 1 friend, it would be Erika.
#4. I'm thankful O's are finally over.
#5. I'm thankful God made me a stronger & more sensible girl this year. I kicked bad habits which I am v proud of.
#6. I'm thankful this year my Momster made the effort to get to understand me better.
#7. I'm thankful no one in my family (besides my Grandma) was hospitalised thus far.

I'll start thanking if I remember to.

Thanksgiving is when we own up to our mistakes too & then New Year's is when we set new resolutions. So, 1 step at a time.

I'm sorry my dearest Clique for not spending alot of time with yall till sometimes yall forget to jio me out. Then I get angry. But what for? It isnt your fault. It's me who distant myself, making it imperative for yall to ocassionally un-include me.

Nonetheless, I'm v v proud of the person I am now. I'm a changed person. Others may beg to differ whether it's change for good or bad. But I think I'm much more 'guai' this year. ;) All thanks to my boy, of course. I've learnt so much just by being together with him.

No more 4 sapphire 09. Awhhh. Tomorrow, I'll be seeing that girl up there. Aka, my BFL&D. It's been so long. O's made us drift apart. But it was imperative that it happened. I'm entitled new line & phone at of course, lower price (the usual perks of buying a phone with contract). I want that phone up there. I dont even know what it's called. & I dont think it's sold in Singapore.

I havent been really studying.

I almost fainted today while walking to school. Which explains why I feel totally sick now. ;( SS = torturing. I'm still having 2nd thought about the topics to study. After 1 whole week, I've figured out the 80's song that I heard but cant make out. ;)

Geography's a pain. I can die writing aimless notes. I'm like writing for the sake of security. Not because it helps me, cause it doesnt. ;( My parents just came back from Hong Kong at midnight.

Cause every friday's fastfood day for Yang & I. ;D Heh heh heh. & ALL THE MOONCAKES & WHATNOT-S IN MY HOUSE, ohymgod, how to resist? 39, I will be!

Tomorrow's my Xiaogirl's (aka Ng Huishan's) birthday. Just because of her, I'll F care about my diet thingy & eat like a horse @ Yukiyaki tomorrow with my girlz. I cant wait! It's been foever since I last went out with them. Miss their craziness, a hell lot. ;)

So, since I'm finally stepping out of my rock & turning from cavewoman to civilised 16-year-old, I shall doll myself up. ;) This year = O's = not much chance to unzip my make-up pouch & pour everything out, y'know? Sighs. But tomorrow's finally an exception.

I've no idea what to wear. HOW?! I dont feel like wearing leggings. But I might change my mind tomorrow, circa 2pm when I'm getting ready to head out? IDK! Wahh, effing confused. Wrdrobe crisis. I'm in desperate need of Retail Therapy!

My parents said: Chio hor? Then my mom wanted to see Lexus. Which is like, so far away from BMW in terms of class y'know? My daddy didnt like it, at all. Being a fan of Mercedes Benz, our last stop was (so anti-climax) the Mercedes Benz showroom. The new E class wasnt on display yet, not until thursday. But my daddy fell in love with it just by looking at the catalogue. HAHAHA!

So daddy, are we getting the new E class? ;) I WANT! But no money, how to buy? ;(

Last thursday, 30 July.

Peishan, Huishan, Shandy & Xue accompanied me to JP after english tutorial to finish the last surprise for my boy's 17th birthday. ;) How nice. Then we were all craving for shaker fries, which managed to deceive me with it's awesome drool-worthy taste, so I gave in to temptation as well.

Last friday, 31 July.

Rushed home after school to get dressed & bring all the stuffs to Yang's place. SO HE GUESSED THAT I WENT TO JP TO MAKE CAKE FOR HIM. Awhh, wanted to surprise him THIS much y'know? Nonetheless, cut cake + front row tickets to Vanessa's 'Happy Birthday' concert for my boy. Heeheee! The cake was, beyond words. Yumyum. Opened present, got ready & left for Vivo.

Gave him a lunch treat @ Earle swensen's (awesome-st).

NO MORE GOLDCLASS SEATS FOR HANGOVER! >;[ That made me a super angry/distressed/depressed Vanesa for like 10 whole minutes. ;( Still, we managed to catch Hangover @ GVMax. The screen is humungous! & my boy loved the show alot. ;D My boy bought cream puffs for my dad, again & we headed home.

Last sunday, 2 August.

My parents picked my boy up from his place & treated us to buffet lunch at Novotel Clarke Quay. Walked around, bai my grand dad & fetched my boy home. ;)

Yesterday, 3 August.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, DARLING! ;D Huishan, Peishan, Shandy, Xue & I headed to WM mac's before tutorial. My boy told me he wanted shaker fries (his fav, btw) & I walked to mac's, bought his fries, walked to sweet talk & bought peach red tea & bought sweets for him. ;) Cabbed back to school, was stopped by a teacher but I managed to get away with it & surprised my boy with his treats. ;)

Tomorrow's our 7th & my boy's treating me to Pastamania. It's been so long since I last ate pasta. F excited! ;)

Today, I'm taking a break from all that xcore studying. I'll see my mood if I wanna study or not. ;)

Sometimes it's true, that time can heal anything.

A broken heart, the sorrow of losing someone & a jeopardised friendship.

The existence of time, may not be what we perceived it to be all this while: a tool that procrastinates one's pain & suffering. I guess God's intention of creating time, was to fill up the null/void of what's missing in our life. It's a pity not many of us can fathom this after having gone through so much hoopla in life that they no longer see the tunnel with light at the ending. All that they fall sight of is a dark never ending tunnel; a one-way ticket to nowhere.

Circa 6pm, I'll be leaving with Momster & Daddy where we'll have steamboat dinner with my maternal relatives. After which, we'll be heading to the temple where my Grand dad's urn is & send him off to Judgement.

I didnt have to go. But I feel it's only right that since I sent him off halfway there the last time at his funeral, I should respect this tradition & finish what I started.

His passing made me realise that life is, more often that not, bittersweet.

We taste what's awful first & soften the blow by constantly remind ourselves that the ending MUST/WILL be sweet. & I know it's hard to relate the passing of my Grand dad to this metaphor. But you see, it was bitter for me, having to see my Grand dad slowly die. But in the end, I tell myself all I've to do is learn to really love the ones that have always loved me. & it was bitter for my Grand dad during his last days with all that suffering. But it was sweet when he saw us relatives from above, bonding with one another like never before.

Awhright, I better go fix my hair now.

Weighing 43.2kg, I AM EFFING BLOATED & FULL. I need laxatives, really.

Yesterday was pure awesomeness. ;) Chiong-ed home the moment the 1240 bell rang (yes, I literally ran home). Was too excited, couldnt wait to see my dearest & celebrate my 16th birthday with him! He only told me his plans when we met. & holyeffingshit, he brought me the Marche. Finally, after a year I reunited with my oh-so-delish crepe. ;) *melts. Then my boy remebered that I wanted the cupcake hairpins from SIX but ohmygod, it was sold out when we wen there. So, he got me a charm bracelet from Diva. It has a cupcake, ice cream, hearts, stars, watermelon on it. ;) After which, caught Murderer. NC16 okay (let me show-off abit, though I know it's nothing big but to me it is). The guy asked for ID & yayyy, I can happily show him. ;)

I wish everyday was my birthday.

Today was awesome, love love today to the core. But I'm depressed about my chinese LC. 2 questions wrong. NN!

Sad stuffs aside, I strolled into class today. & dear Winnie told me to life the screen up. I jumped the moment I lifted it up. 'GIANT CUPCAKE! WITH BOW!' -that's what I screamed. I was so touched, almost melted. Then my class gaveme the honour of having the 1st ever Tuna sandwich toasted in out very own classroom, courtesy of Weining's toaster. & they sang happy birthday for me. ;) I was screaming like mad when I opened Yang's present cause OMG! He got me DiorAddict perfume. I wanted perfume but I didnt expect that! ;D Love yah tonz! Mr Beh's math class = he got the class to sing me another birthday song. How sweeeeeeeet!

Tonz wished me & I'm really surprised that they made an effort to remember. ;) Those who wished me @ midnight, seriously, yall made my day worthwhile. Though I suffered mile insomnia last night cause every few minutes my phone will ring "Let's have some fun, this beat is sick. I wanna take a ride on your disco stick". Today I woke up angry because, SOME IDIOT STOLE MY BOW RUBBERBAND. Excuse me, that was the first ever bow rubberband I own, it costs $10 & it's freaking all the way from Japan! Hmph! >;[ Screw whoever stole it, whichever devious little relative of mine. I HATE YOU! I'm gonna get another one later when I drop by at wm. A HUGE ONE.

& my daddy bought me a pink Hello Kitty birthday card that plays the birthday song. ;) I'm still & forever will be his little princess.

I love everyone who wished me today. Yes, it's Pi Day too. Hahaha. But that does not make me Pi Girl! Mischevous classmates!

Strictly no food for me for tomorrow. I am eating way too much! The sense of accomplishment I get from completing math homework = surreal, & I love it! ;)

It's also MT LC tomorrow, what a complete downer. ;( Hope it's easy!
